Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
This policy applies to tutorials, configuration references, and client download links provided at clash-docs.com. This is a static content website. It does not offer account registration or ask visitors for an email address. This policy explains what data may be involved when you visit the site and how it is used. Installed clients, subscription services, and external websites are outside its scope.
1. Visit Data and Collection
When you view a page or request a download, the servers and network infrastructure hosting this site may log your IP address, request time, page path, response status, referring page, and browser details. This data is used to fulfill requests, identify unusual traffic, and troubleshoot page or download issues. Visiting the site is not anonymous: private browsing does not prevent servers from receiving information needed to handle your connection.
This site does not let you import subscriptions or upload configurations, and does not ask you to submit subscription links, node passwords, or local YAML files. Follow the tutorials to configure subscriptions in your client. Do not put real tokens, passwords, or full subscription URLs in page URL query parameters; they could be included in request logs or analytics records.
2. Analytics and How Data Is Used
This site uses analytics to understand page views, referral sources, device types, and how visitors use its content. The download page also records which platform visitors choose, helping us determine where installation instructions are needed. Analytics help improve the documentation structure, find broken links, and enhance the mobile experience. You do not need to provide your name or email address.
Analytics results are generally aggregated by page and event, but this does not mean the underlying requests contain no technical information. How long analytics data and service logs are retained depends on the deployment configuration; this page does not promise a specific retention period that has not been verified. You can block analytics scripts in your browser. This usually leaves static content accessible but may affect some interactive features.
3. Cookies and Browser Storage
This site does not use account login sessions. Whether analytics writes cookies, and how long any cookies last, depends on the analytics service's configuration. A static website does not necessarily mean there are no cookies. Local storage is separate from cookies, and your browser may also cache pages, fonts, and scripts to reduce repeat requests.
Use your browser's site permissions or privacy settings to view, restrict, or clear this site's cookies, local storage, and cache. Clearing them may reset saved preferences and require resources to reload. Removing data from your device does not automatically delete logs or analytics records already sent to a server.
4. Third-Party Links and Client Downloads
This site links to client websites, app stores, and download pages. Once you follow an external link, the destination may process your IP address, device information, and browsing activity under its own policies. The service delivering an installation file through a link on this site may also create access logs. This site's privacy policy does not replace the policies of those services.
Before downloading, check the destination domain, app name, and publisher details. Review system permission prompts during installation. For how a client handles network data after enabling a system proxy, TUN, or VPN permission, consult the client and service provider's documentation. This site provides documentation and links; it does not gain access to subscription content or proxy traffic inside a client.
5. Policy Updates and Questions
If changes to analytics settings, site features, or download delivery affect this privacy policy, we will revise this page and update the month shown at the top. Because this site does not collect registration emails, policy changes will be posted here rather than sent by email. Please review the relevant terms before using new features.
For help with subscriptions, permissions, or access issues, see the Help Center and Getting Started guide, then follow the steps for your situation. Before contacting a client or subscription provider, remove credentials from screenshots, logs, and configurations. You do not need to submit a full subscription URL to troubleshoot an issue.
